This has to be one of the most disgustingly romanticized and inaccurate depictions of a water horse I have ever seen.
It’s funny because I thought ‘wow what a fresh and interesting interpretation of a hippocampus, I like the idea of (tropical, reef-fish) fish scales, I don’t remember seeing a design like this before and I can appreciate what the concept designers did with an old concept instead of re-hashing old arts’
(Then again I am a product designer and we’re about re-inventing things)
